Product description

The Clarke English Wheel including 5 anvils, is a strong, robust and durable English Wheel that is capable of shaping large panels of mild steel, copper and aluminium into smooth or compound curves, without the need for heating the work piece, using a single bit of equipment.

This English Wheel is compatible with our range of bench-top vices, however it also includes 4 holes to be affixed to a workbench for increased stability. Included with 5 anvil wheels, the product offers versatility, allowing for the production of a variety of different sized curves. English wheels are ideal for specialist projects, such as car, bike or aviation restoration or repair, as well as ornate pieces of metal work. It is recommended to use a panel beaters sand bag and a pear shaped mallet to put form into a metal sheet, before smoothing and stretching the work piece.
