The Clarke OBDII Fault Code Reader is an essential bit of kit for any mechanic or car enthusiast looking to save time and money by taking the guesswork out of identifying faults on cars from 1996 and newer. Supporting any of the five communications protocols and their four variants (SAE J1850 PWM, SAE J1850 VPW, ISO9141-2, ISO14230-4 (KWP2000), and ISO 15765-4/SAE J2480) and compatible with all manufacturer's vehicles fitted with a standard 16-pin connector, the Clarke OBDII Fault Code Reader is able to diagnose, read fault codes, clear fault codes and retrieve VIN’s from 2002 or newer vehicles.

Any fault that the code reader finds is displayed on an easy to read LCD screen, and once cleared, the user is able to rescan the vehicle instantly, to confirm its resolution.
